iPhone 12 lingers for a month

The coronavirus pandemic and quarantine introduced in many countries interfered with Apple’s plans for 2020. At first, the company canceled the presentation of the second-generation iPhone SE scheduled for March and released the long-awaited smartphone only in mid-April and without any noise, and now, it looks like it has postponed the start of production of iPhone 12. At least, sources cited by the authoritative publication speak about this The Wall Street Journal.

According to The wall Street Journal, because of the coronavirus, Apple decided to postpone the launch of mass production of the iPhone 12 for one month, and therefore, the official announcement will be delayed by about the same amount. Sources say that instead of the previously expected mid-September, Apple will show new flagships closer to the end of October.

Note that Apple has high hopes for the flagship series of iPhone 12. These will be the first smartphones of the company with support for fifth-generation cellular networks. In addition to supporting 5G and the new Apple A14 processor, the new iPhones are waiting for a redesign in the style of the iPad Pro 2020 with the same sharp edges and the appearance of a LiDAR scanner. iPhone 12 will be released in four models, and not three, as the previous generation. It will be two 6.1-inch models and one model with 5.4- and 6.7-inch screens.
