According to Bloomberg, between September and October 2019, Apple sold 10 million iPhones. This is 6% more compared to the same period last year. Compared to the iPhone XR, iPhone sales are up more than 300%. Canalys analyst Nicole Peng believes that the Chinese are more willing to buy the iPhone 11 than last year's models, while older iPhones are showing weaker sales.

Note that before the release of iPhone 11, Apple's business in China did not go well. Apple's share of the local smartphone market has been declining under the onslaught of local brands such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo. Earlier, Apple CEO Tim Cook hinted that the new prices, the trade-in program and the installment plan allowed iPhone to regain lost ground in the Chinese market.
