During the test, Gene Munster asked each digital assistant 800 identical questions to compare which of them is smarter. Siri's voice assistant turned out to be smarter than Alexa, but lost to the Google Assistant. Siri answered correctly on 83% of the questions, Alexa on 79.8% of the questions, and Google Assistant gave 92.9% of the correct answers.

Note that over the year, all voice assistants wiser. So, last year Siri gave correct answers only 79% of questions, Alexa – by 61% of questions, and Google Assistant – by 86%.

During testing, voice assistants were asked the same questions from five different categories specifically for a comprehensive assessment of the capabilities and usefulness of digital assistants. The analyst noted that manufacturers continue to amaze with the notable improvements in their voice assistants that they have been demonstrating over the past few years.

“Siri continues to prove to be a more helpful assistant in matters related to the phone, such as voice calls, text messaging, email, calendar and music. Both Siri and Google Assistant, which are integrated into the smartphone’s operating system, far surpass Alexa in terms of execution teams, "writes Gene Munster.
