Keena will not be: Apple has canceled the release of augmented reality glasses

Rumors that Apple has been working on creating its own augmented reality glasses have been around for several years. They were expected to be ready by 2020 or 2021. But today, bad news has arrived from Asia for those who have been waiting for Apple Glass.

Apple is developing a new operating system – SiriOS
Do users massively refuse the iPhone?

The Taiwan industry publication DigiTimes, citing its own reliable sources, reported that Apple had stopped developing augmented reality glasses and canceled their launch. However, for what reason the company abandoned this project, is not specified.

Recall earlier analyst Min-Chi Kuo said that augmented reality glasses will be positioned not as an independent device, but as an accessory for the iPhone. Their mass production was planned to start in late 2019 or early 2020. Especially for glasses, Apple created an operating system called rOS with support for Siri voice assistant and head gesture control.
