In the second half of the year Samsung unveils its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8, whose debut is timed to the release of the iPhone 8. One of the most popular rumours about this device along with dual camera, is the built in screen scanner fingerprint. Samsung tried to place the module beneath the surface of the display in Galaxy Note 8, but did not solve all the associated technological complexity. It is reported by BGR, citing industry observers familiar with the situation.

It is known that Samsung has developed a fingerprint scanner and even tested it in real prototypes, but are faced with the problem related to security. Insiders call another problem: smartphone is not different from the usual touch associated with managing, from the team lock/unlock. In the result, the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

In this connection interesting is the question of the use of the biometric module in a display panel of the iPhone 8. Sources claim that Apple managed to solve all the problems associated with the integration of Touch ID into the screen of the anniversary of the smartphone.

According to sources, the Galaxy Note 8 will be based on not yet introduced the Snapdragon 836, which will be an updated version of the current flagship SoC Snapdragon 835. It is alleged that Galaxy Note 8 will be the first smartphone with such a chip.

Snapdragon 836 will differ increased to 2,5 GHz the processor unit and a more powerful GPU frequency is 740 MHz.

According to preliminary information, the Galaxy Note 8 with a 6.3-inch “infinite” display will be released in August or September of this year – a few weeks before the presentation of the iPhone 8.
