In App Store we have released a new version of the browser “Yandex”, which is characterized by a small but very significant change. In particular, the program fixed a common bug that causes typing in capital letters, even when the user didn’t want.
This problem is characteristic not only for third-party browsers in iOS, but for Apple branded browser. Safari in iOS 9 introduces a query in Cyrillic capital letters. And this is despite the release of two technical updates to the major release of “nine”
“The app is optimized for iOS 9. In particular, common fixed bug that caused to enter text in CAPITAL letters, even when the user didn’t want. In addition, reduced the startup time of the Browser on the iPhone 5s and earlier models and fixed some minor bugs”.
It is noteworthy that the problem of capital letters in search queries Safari was discovered at the stage of testing iOS 9. In the beta versions of the search queries in the Russian language was typed in caps. However, Apple for some reason did not decide this question nor in the final version of iOS 9 or iOS 9.0.1, iOS 9.0.2 or even iOS 9.1, which was released in five test versions.
“Yandex.Browser” was presented in autumn 2012. Last summer, the app was released for iPad and Android smartphones. The program integrated viewer for PDF files, Turbo mode, accelerating the download sites and popular services — search, mail, translator and “Disk”.
