Unfortunately, support for this technology is rather limited, however, the company is working on solving “problems”.
As it became known, WhatsApp is testing a new version of the iOS app. It reportedly appeared extended support 3D Touch. In particular, the opportunity to use Peek and Pop. With this technology you can view the contents of the chat, even opening. So, if you tap on the name of the caller, the function will show a Peek preview, and if you push harder — function Pop open it. Similar technology works for contact data, links, and location information.
Another equally useful option refers to the messenger icons on your home screen. WhatsApp now available for “quick actions” when clicking on the icon with little effort allows you to perform the most common operations: move quickly to create a new post, the section elected positions or to open settings.
In the new version of WhatsApp will allow using “quick actions” to create a new chat, or go to one of the recent. It will be enough one click on the icon of messenger from the main screen.
Enhanced support for 3D Touch displays can be expected in one of the next updates messenger.
