Russians will be able to complain about dangerous driving with the app for smartphones, writes TASS with reference to the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on state construction and legislation Vyacheslav Lysakova. The corresponding bill is planned to be adopted during the spring session.
According to officials, this Annex is prepared in the interior Ministry and the Ministry of communications. It will work with a digital signature and will allow you to send in traffic police videos with facts of dangerous driving. The entry will be grounds for automatic imposition of the penalty, if any statements are not required – the file will considered as entry traffic cameras.
“No need to write a statement. The file you sent and everything, and a penalty is issued the same as with cameras,” – said the Deputy.
Lysakov said that he did not know at what stage is the development of application, meanwhile the traffic police are already “choking on the number of video streams sent by the drivers.”
The concept of “dangerous” driving” was included in the SDA in the spring of 2016, and in 2017 was adopted in the first reading a bill to impose a fine in the amount of 5000 rubles.
According to the updated traffic regulations, “dangerous driving” is expressed in the repeated Commission of one or more of the following: failure to give way to the car, enjoying the advantage of frequent changeover in heavy traffic, failure to a safe distance and a lateral interval, unjustified sudden braking and preventing overtaking.
