In the next update of WhatsApp messenger will support 3D display technology Touch. Wrote about this in his Twitter WALID German developer who is testing a new version of the app.
As you know, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus offer a fundamentally new way of interacting with your phone for the first time in its history, the gadget can discern the force pressing on the display. To this end, in iOS operating system implemented the function of “Fast action”, which requires much less clicks to perform the most common operations. For example, you can quickly create a message for the people from the list of favorite contacts. Or enable the camera to take the selfie. In the case of WhatsApp will be able to move quickly to create a new post, the section elected positions or to open settings. For these actions it will be enough one click on the icon of messenger from the main screen.
Will WhatsApp support another advantage of 3D displays, Touch – Peek and Pop is still unknown. In standard messenger and Apple’s mail app thanks to this technology you can view online content and work with it, even opening. For example, if you tap on a letter, Peek will show the preview, and if you push harder — function Pop open it.
Earlier it was reported that in the next update of WhatsApp will support the quick responses, the implementation of which became possible with the release of iOS 9. Messenger will allow to respond to messages with “one touch” – using banner notifications, lock screen or from notification Center.
