At CES 2016, the company Imagination Technologies has introduced a new generation of graphics chips PowerVR 7XT Plus. This processor will be part of the single-chip systems of the future iPhone and iPad and will give “Apple” gadgets huge stock graphic power.
The current generation of gadgets iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 is able to cope with any tasks, but their performance is not enough to run games with console level graphics. According to the creators, a new graphics processor significantly added to performance, efficiency, processing of different image formats, have received common improvements in the microarchitecture and optimization of heterogeneous computing architectures.
The new graphics chip offers all the key features of previous models, such as OpenGL ES 3.2. and feature hardware virtualization. The level of performance PowerVR 7XT Plus no equal on the market.
