The loyalty of iPhone users reached a record 92% in anticipation of the release of iPhone 8

A new sociological study conducted by investment firm Morgan Stanley found that more than 90% of owners of smartphones Apple is ready to buy a new iPhone in the next 12 months.

Investment company conducted a survey among the owners of mobile devices of different brands by determining the degree of consumer loyalty to them. In drawing up the stamp were taken into account the views of people aged 18 to 65 years. They were asked to evaluate the brands and products that are issued under them, from the point of view of price, quality and convenience.

In first place was Apple: 92% of current iPhone owners are ready in the next 12 months to upgrade to a more recent model “Apple” smartphone. Last year this figure was slightly lower and amounted to 86%.

Owners of smartphones South Korean company Samsung less committed to the brand, but in the case of her loyalty index is high at 77%. In third place is LG with an index of 59%, followed by Motorola (56%) and Nokia (42%).

Analysts at Morgan Stanley expect the beginning of the so-called “super-cycle” that is associated with the launch of the iPhone 8. In other words, the demand for the new product will be significantly higher than in the previous generation model — “the eight” will buy, those who expected a major update and therefore deprived of attention iPhone 6s and 7.
