The future generation iPhone will receive an updated modem and antenna

According to the iPhone Hacks portal, the future generation iPhone will be equipped with new modules, antennas, liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and updated the modems to speed LTE.

IPhone X now uses two antenna LCP LTE module support 2×2 MIMO, but in future models Apple plans to update them by adding support for 4×4 MIMO to increase the speed of LTE network. By the way, the flagship Android smartphones now supports 4×4 MIMO. It is expected that Apple will use the Intel XM 7560 modems and Qualcomm X20 in the next generation iPhone. New modems will have a higher speed in LTE network, and will support 4 × 4 MIMO. The use of these components, along with the new antenna module, will improve reception in the network that is the determining factor in all mobile devices.

Next year, Apple also plans to reduce its dependence on Qualcomm and go to modems produced by Intel.

According to analyst company KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his most accurate predictions about Apple products, next year expect an iPhone with two SIM-cards.
