At the moment Apple watch have one of the best displays, among all solutions in the market of wearable devices. Many experts have repeatedly noted the excellent color reproduction, and excellent brightness of the display.

The independent expert Brian Jones has studied the structure of the Apple Watch screens and came to the conclusion that the structure of the display panel is significantly different from what he had seen on other Apple devices. Under the microscope enthusiast got a 42-mm version of a smart watch with a resolution of 312 x 390 pixels (326 ppi).

“Tellingly, the pixels of the Apple Watch are significantly different from the pixels on the iPhone. The simplest explanation: the device uses AMOLED screen. However, what surprised me the actual image size in pixels is much less than that of the pixels of the same iPhone. Most likely, this is due to the need to reduce display power consumption and reduce the load on the battery “smart” hours,” says the expert.

In his blog, Jones has posted a few photos of the Apple Watch with a big increase:

Previously, experts DisplayMate, examining the screen of an electronic bracelet Apple, called it “excellent”, but recommended to buy the model without sapphire glass. It is claimed that the Apple Watch Sport less fade in the sun.
