According to the instructions, they are still able to withstand immersion in up to 1 m without any consequences. But to take pictures or shoot video underwater, the company no longer permits.
On the company’s website States that the process of checking devices on the moisture occurs in the laboratory. The device is immersed in a container with fresh water to a depth of 1.5 m and after 30 minutes remove it from there. All this time the smartphone is in sleep mode.
The manufacturer stressed that it cannot guarantee the efficiency of the device after the jump into the pool with a smartphone in your pocket.
