Smartphone Xiaomi Mi-7 will get wireless charging

So far none of the Xiaomi smartphones do not support wireless charging. According to Chinese media, the next flagship of the company can get the Qi wireless charging standard.

According to the resource Gizmochina, Xiaomi has joined the Wireless Power consortium (WPC), deciding not to announce his decision to the public. Evidence was found on the official website of the WPC, where among the participants listed Chinese manufacturer of mobile electronics.

WPC is an international organization consisting of 243 companies, including Apple, Samsung, LG, Sony and many others. According to Gizmochina, Apple has joined the consortium in February of this year. And after 6 months introduced the first iPhone to support wireless charging — the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 and iPhone Plus X.

If Xiaomi will follow the example of Apple, already the next smartphone will be equipped with wireless charging. According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi Mi 7 will be available in the first half of 2018. The novelty will receive a 6-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon processor 845 and 6-8 GB of RAM.
