Samsung started the competition with Apple in the market of payment services

Samsung on Thursday launched a signature service, Samsung Pay, which allows to make payments using the new smartphones of the company. The first country selected for testing, became South Korea. But next week the service will start in the USA. Further, the South Korean giant: Britain, Spain and China.

The technology built into smartphones Galaxy, allows you to pay for the goods, only bringing the gadget to the reader at the checkout of the store. Using the fingerprint sensor on your phone to be used for authorization of payments, as implemented by Apple. The number of smartphones with a new feature, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.

An additional key is bound to the service card has to be issued by the Bank that support Samsung Pay. Currently partners with Samsung as part of the new service are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Samsung is also working with Bank of America, Citi, JPMorgan Chase and U.S. Bank.

For the first time Samsung has introduced branded payment service in March this year along with the Galaxy S6. Unlike Apple Pay, the payment system Samsung Pay in addition to the NFC technology is used MST – “magnetic secure transmission” used POS terminals to receive contactless payments from mobile devices without the need of making changes in the software.

Samsung stressed that any fees for the transaction will not take, although in the future, probably, are unlikely to abandon this source of income. By the way, Apple takes 15 hundredths of a cent of each transaction through Apple Pay.
