Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy and Galaxy S8 S8+ with the “infinite display”

Samsung has officially introduced a new smartphone Galaxy Galaxy S8 and S8+. The announcement took place at a special press conference in new York.
Both models equipped with a display aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and a resolution of 2960х1440 pixels. The older model, the screen size is 6.2 inch, younger — 5.8 inch. Both the flagship device got a case of glass and metal with rounded style Galaxy Edge screens. “Infinite display” covers practically the entire front panel of the smartphones. It is difficult to tell where the end of the frame and starts the screen, Samsung said from the stage.
Buttons Galaxy S8 is built into the screen, and the fingerprint reader moved to the back wall. The flagship is equipped with a scanner iris of the eye, like the Galaxy Note 7.
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S8 received protection from water and dust to standard IP68. This means that the phone will last a half-hour dive to a depth of five feet.
The smartphone will come in two versions: with processor Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8895 835. They will also get 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory with support for memory cards. Resolution main camera is 12 megapixels, front — eight. They both have an aperture of f1.7 with the Dual Pixel technology.
Galaxy S8 was the first device of the company with voice assistant Bixby. To call it on the left side of the case has a special button. The manufacturer claims that the assistant is the smartest on the market and is fundamentally different from solutions of other companies, such as Apple’s Siri.
