Stickers on smartphones with the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill can be a danger to society. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the Synodal Department for Church and society and the media Vladimir Legoyda.
He explained that when such images are used to ridicule it, in his opinion, “bad taste”. “There is something not laughing,” said Legoyda. According to the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church, the use of these stickers shows bad taste of smartphone owners.
As said Legoyda, in social networks people often hurt each other’s feelings. “There are among these people, and popular in the youth environment, the characters, the creators kind of “fashion design”. All this, of course, very sad, because, firstly, often just devoid of talent, and secondly, it is destructive to society,” — said Legoyda.
To date, a set of stickers with the Patriarch was downloaded more than 20,000 times. Whether the Russian Orthodox Church to demand the prohibition of such stickers, it is difficult to say.
