Released Jailbreak 4.0 for 32-bit iPhone, iPad and iPod with iOS 9.1 to 9.3.4

Hacker Tihmstar announced the release of its new browser-based Jailbreak 4.0 on the basis of the Safari. The jailbreak is compatible with all 32-bit devices on iOS 9.1 to 9.3.4.

To use a jailbroken iOS device is unsafe. Jailbreak 4.0 or any other should only be installed for testing or entertainment purposes.

To untether this Jailbreak, you need to add the repository repo.tihmstar.net in Cydia http://repo.tihmstar.net/ and install the package “Community Offsets” from the category “System”. You will need both packages in order to disable the application.

How to do it?

  • Open Cydia app and go to the Sources tab.
  • Click Edit in the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Click Add in the upper left corner of the screen. A window will appear for the URL of the repository. You need to enter it manually, and then click Add Source. If everything is correct, Cydia will download the repository.
  • Click Return to Cydia at the bottom of the screen. If in the process encountered no errors, add the repository successfully, If something failed, you need to check the URL and try again. You should replace”https” with “http”, if so specified in the repository’s address.
  • In the video, the hacker says that JailbreakMe 4.0 will not run on some devices. He tested his jailbreak on the iPhone 4s.
