Microsoft is actively working on two flagship smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile. Novelties under the code symbols Cityman and Talkman will go on sale under the trade names Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950. Today, the network got the authentic photos and specifications of models.
Both devices are equipped with OLED-display with a resolution of Quad HD, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of flash storage with a microSD slot, the main 20-megapixel PureView camera, front-facing 5-megapixel camera and USB connector Type-S.
The differences between the devices are reduced to the fact that the senior Lumia 950 XL turned to 5.7-inch display, 8-core chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and removable battery 3300 mAh, while Junior Lumia 950 received 5.2-inch screen, 6-core platform Snapdragon 808, removable battery capacity of 3000 mAh. In addition, Lumia 950 XL has built-in support for Qi wireless charging — the owners of the Lumia 950 will have to get a separate cover for this.
The smartphones will be equipped with a scanner of the retina and aluminum buttons.
It is expected that the official announcement of the gadgets running Windows 10 mobile will be held on October 19.
