Published photos of “smart” hours Nokia Moonraker, abandoned by Microsoft

When the boom of wearable electronics, in particular, “smart” hours, many companies have began developing their own models. There were rumors that Nokia is working on its own smart watch. This is a rumor went until, until the mobile division of the Finnish manufacturer has not bought Microsoft.

The Verge has posted images of a prototype wearable computer that Nokia was preparing. The novelty was listed under the code name Moonraker. It is argued that this is not just a concept, and a press image, produced for promotional campaign of the gadget.

The first image Moonraker’ve found blogger Evan Blass on page a Microsoft employee Pei-Chi SIA Tumblr. Sources familiar with the plans of Nokia, said the company really has developed a smart watch designed in the style of modern decisions under the control of the mobile version of Windows.

The prototype Moonraker contained a number of sensors which monitor various parameters. For example, when lifting up the display was allowed to read the text, and after lowering the hands, it is automatically switched off. In the smart watch has built apps for calls, messaging, email. Also required the installation of client social network Facebook and has a function of remote control of the smartphone camera.

Nokia was going to release a smart watch along with the Lumia 930 smartphone, but Microsoft cancelled the development of a device to optimize costs. The software giant gave preference to their sports tracker Band as a product with more functionality.
