Prestigious Chinese University has copied the icon Touch ID for its emblem [photos]

The Chinese know a lot of copying. Residents of China in parallel with the construction of its specific version of socialism successfully mastered the production of counterfeit clothing, gadgets, cars, military equipment and even space ships. Especially popular among the Chinese is “Apple” technique: repeat everything from the design of smartphones and tablets to interface the operating system and interior shops.

This week scored one of the most prestigious universities in China, Shanghai Fudan University. Dedicated to the anniversary of the emblem of the institution turned out to be a copy of the icon of the fingerprint scanner Touch ID. In order to hide the traces of plagiarism, the icon Apple specularly reflected and turned ninety degrees. However, users in the Network easily identified the original.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first case when one of the oldest universities in China caught on plagiarism. Not so long ago, the University has released an anniversary video that was copied from a video created by the University of Tokyo in 2014.

Fudan University is one of the most prestigious universities in China. Founded in 1905 at the end of the Qing dynasty. It consists of 17 institutes and 69 departments, are taught to 73 undergraduate majors, 156 master’s and 201 doctoral specialties.

At the moment the University has already apologized for the incident with the video, but the episode with the icons copying Touch ID is still waiting for official comments of the administration.
