Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac will support Cortana in Windows 10 OS-level

The next edition of the software virtualization solution, Parallels Desktop will get extended support for Windows 10, shown inside Neowin. In particular, Mac users can use voice assistant Cortana on the operating system level.

Among the claimed Parallels Desktop for 11 innovations is the function “Always on Cortana”. “Get all the benefits of Windows on your Mac. Use Cortana virtual voice assistant Microsoft – even when Windows 10 is not in active mode”, – stated in the function description.

For Parallels Desktop 11 also announced native support for OS X El Capitan, speedups of up to 50% and mode of Travel Mode to increase the autonomy of the MacBook by shutting down some services. The Coherence mode that allows you to run Windows applications on OS X, like it’s a native Mac program, will receive the quick switch and the ability to view notifications using the icons in the status bar of OS X.

Voice assistant Microsoft combines the functions of Siri and Google Now. Like the first Cortana understands a sentence without requiring strictly formulated teams: the assistant can answer questions, engage in dialogue and what is especially nice, make a joke in response to frivolous questions and suggestions. Russian users to wait for Cortana. The final release of Windows 10 will take place without the Russian version of voice assistant.

Parallels does not report on the timing of the debut of Desktop 11, however, considering that Windows 10 will be released on July 29, the release can be expected soon.
