Microsoft released a beta version of a new application for remote management of Windows-based PC with OS X

Microsoft released a beta version of the new Remote Desktop app for desktop the Apple platform, through which the Mac can be used as an interface for remote management of Windows-based PC.

The program supports a standard Protocol Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Functionality official RDP client is much the same capabilities of a desktop application for Windows and iOS client. Users of iOS devices can connect to computers, access to remote applications or data in libraries.

Although there are many mobile RDP clients from third-party developers, proprietary software from Microsoft promises to be more stable and functional.

Remote Desktop app now available in App Store and Mac App Store. The new test Mac version, Microsoft offered users a new feature additions, including improved account management and the ability to use native commands “Cut”, “Copy” and “Paste” in the framework of the remote connection. On the server you can configure the access rights for the software.

According to the statement, Microsoft, client for desktop and mobile “OSes” Apple will continue to improve. In Redmond promise to add support for multiple monitors, synchronization, clipboard, Remote Desktop gateway and organize direct remote access to resources.
