Microsoft has officially unveiled its flagship smartphones on Windows 10 – Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL

Microsoft at the conference on 6 October has officially unveiled its new flagship smartphones with “liquid cooling” Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. These are the first smartphones that will be preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile.

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL is equipped with OLED display with a resolution of WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels). The diagonal of the older model is 5.7 inches, the Junior is 5.2 inches. The basis of the Lumia 950 XL was an 8-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, and Lumia 950 is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 808. The amount of RAM in the smartphone is 3 GB.

Main camera flagship has a resolution of 20 megapixels, optical image stabilization the fifth generation and triple led flash, front 5 MP. Built-in flash memory provides 32 GB using microSD cards up to 2 TB.

Both devices are equipped with USB connector-C and two antennas, which company officials called the “best in the world”. Smartphones support the quick charging technology that allows you to restore half the battery in 30 minutes.

During the presentation, Microsoft showed Display Dock – a device with which phones connected to an external display and become almost full-fledged computer with Windows 10. Keyboard and mouse connect to the device separately using the same USB adapter. There you can connect a flash drive and the phone will recognize. Smartphone users can continue to use: to make calls, write SMS and so on. It is possible to transmit up to 1080p.

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will go on sale in November, the suggested retail price is $549 and $649, respectively. Microsoft Display Dock will cost $550.
