Microsoft began to take MacBook in payment for computers on Windows 10

Microsoft has repeatedly mocked the MacBook on their presentations and promotional videos, promoting devices on Windows 10. Now the company decided to go with the other hand – the company from Redmond has launched a trade in program for Mac users.

Microsoft announced a promotion in which owners of Apple notebooks can get a gift certificate face value 300 dollars. It can be spent on the purchase of personal computers running Windows 10.

To participate in the action, you must comply with several conditions. The main thing — to purchase up to 20 October via the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 computer that cost at least $ 600. Sending in your old Microsoft laptop, the buyer will receive the appropriate discount. The laptop needs to be marketable and to be no older than 6 years. Display size should not be less than 11.6 inches. The offer is available for residents of USA, Canada, UK, India, Brazil, France, Germany and Taiwan.

The campaign began shortly after Microsoft introduced the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book laptop. At the presentation the company has several times appealed to a MacBook, stating that the performance model bypasses “Apple” the computer twice. The starting price of the Microsoft Surface Book is $1499, the MacBook Pro is $1299.

Similar tactics to increase sales, Microsoft has been practicing for a long time. In 2013, the Corporation announced a campaign to exchange an iPad for a gift certificate worth $200. Money could be spent on the purchase of tablet PCs Surface RT, Surface Pro or other products in retail stores of the company.
