“MegaFon” will explore the warning of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) on the abolition of roaming charges within Russia. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the press service of the company Yulia Dorokhina.
“Megaphone” for a long time provides rates that give the opportunity to use the services without roaming on the territory of Russia, said Dorokhin.
“For subscribers of “MegaFon” bathrooming while traveling in Russia for a long time has already arrived, as most of them use batch offers,” she said. Thus, said Dorokhin, the cost of communication services of the home region.
“We will study the text of the warning from the Federal Antimonopoly service”, — said the representative of “MegaFon”.
On Monday, the FAS warned mobile operators in Russia about the need to eliminate unreasonable differences in the tariffs in the home area and travel within Russia. The Telecom operators have to change the conditions of tariff plans within two weeks of receipt of the warning and also to inform the subscribers about such changes within 10 days prior to the introduction of new tariffs.
Dorokhin emphasized that for subscribers of “MegaFon” no roaming charges when you travel around Russia “for a long time has already come”, as most of them use packages. “This means that the cost of communication services of the home region. Moreover, they can activate additional options,” said Dorokhin.
The representatives of the other three largest operators – MTS, Beeline and Tele2 declined to comment.
