Media: the release of the Apple Watch 2 will take place later than expected

Apple is unlikely to release the Apple Watch 2 in March of this year, says TechCrunch columnist Matthew Panzarino referring to industry sources. According to his information, the clock should wait until the second half of the year.

“I’m not sure that we will see in the beginning of the year. But what I have learned (from multiple sources) suggests that in March we will not show the new model of the Apple Watch. Can be new partnerships, new accessories and stuff like that, but not “Watch 2.0″ with many hardware innovations, like the camera. I could be wrong, of course, but I heard enough to write about it here.”

According to Panzarino, from a chain of suppliers there is no evidence that Apple is preparing to launch Apple Watch. There is no serious progress and the team on software development for the device.

I agree with the journalist, Creative Strategies analyst Ben Bajarin who believe that Apple will offer no major releases in the first half of the year.

Recently the media disseminated information that the announcement of the second generation Apple Watch will take place in March at a special event Apple. Test production of new items should start before the end of January. It would be fair, if confirmed information about the entering the device into stores in April of this year.

Panzarino suggests that in the first half of the year Apple will introduce iPad Air third generation 4-inch iPhone 5e, of which there are many rumours as well as updated Mac models. The release of the second generation Apple Watch, probably, suffered in the fall.

Earlier on Friday, the informants showed photos of unknown smart watches that are in style are very reminiscent of “Apple” gadget and may well be the second generation Apple Watch. The key difference from the first generation – round display. The sources did not provide conclusive evidence of the authenticity of the picture, so the novelty may well be a clone of smart watches from Chinese manufacturers.
