According to insiders, an Android smartphones with NFC chips in the next month will become a full-fledged payment instrument. Bankers believe contactless technology is extremely promising, especially in combination with the Android platform, which now dominates the market.
In Google the rumors about the launch date of Android Pay is not confirmed. May 15, 2017 the Russian office of the company is going to present a new service in Russia, however, Google did not disclose what kind of project.
The sources indicate that among partners, Android Pay is already “Sberbank”. Who else is involved in the launch of the project, was not disclosed.
