McDonald’s launched a delivery service in Russia

The world’s largest network of restaurants of fast food McDonald’s launched in Russia service delivery. According to “Vedomosti”, the project has involved six of the capital’s restaurants, but gradually the coverage area will expand. You can place the order through the app UberEats.

Users will be able to order any number of burgers and other food, as the minimum order amount no. However, shipping will have to pay 99 rubles. Coverage will be gradually expanded, promise representatives of McDonald’s.

“If they [UberEats] will be released in other regions, and we will test the delivery there,” she explained. Other partners McDonald’s is not considering.

At the beginning of 2017, McDonald’s also began to deliver food in the UK, Spain and the USA. Earlier the similar service became available in China and Singapore.

Last week, McDonald’s has filed with Rospatent application for registration of trademarks McDelivery and “Macrostate” as well as the logo for the delivery service.

Earlier test delivery in Moscow and regions launched one of the competitors of McDonald’s — KFC. In the test project involves 27 restaurants in Moscow and Moscow region, as well as 10 restaurants in the cities of the Urals. The minimum order is absent, and the cost of delivery varies depending on the address.

The other largest network of fast food Burger King also enquired about the delivery. “We will soon announce a deal,” said her representative.
