“Mail of Russia” will take orders for delivery of parcels to the house via the mobile app

To order the delivery of small packets to the house the postman is now possible through the mobile application of the Russian post. The service is available in test mode in the part of postal offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

To order the service to the clients of Russian post in Moscow and St Petersburg simply choose the option “Deliver”, which will automatically appear in the application after receipt of the parcel to the post office and indicate your contact number, it is told in the company message. The service costs $ 100.

Delivery of small packets to the house the postman is available throughout the country since January this year. After receipt of the parcel to the post office the operator on the phone invited the recipients to use the service. Last month in Moscow alone, the postman delivered nearly 20,000 small packets.

“We want to make the service of home delivery is easier and more convenient for our customers. Given that the number of mobile users from the mail of Russia has reached 1.5 million, I am confident that our new service will be popular and useful. After testing in Moscow and St. Petersburg it is planned to be broadcasted to the whole of Russia”, – said Deputy General Director of the Russian post on the development of the mail-order business and Express delivery Sergey Malyshev.

First app for iOS and Android “Mail of Russia” launched a year and a half ago. It is from the beginning gave the ability to track mail, save an unlimited number of shipments, receive push notifications about the status of shipments, and browse to the address or the geolocation of the post offices, including the map, and filter their search according to the work schedule. In addition, the application includes the persistent chat with an online consultant proposes to assess an office or report inaccurate data.
