Mac users will get free access to all games Valve

Studio Valve has decided to provide for free to owners of Mac computers all their games created by the team of Gabe Newell. About it reports Polygon.

The generosity of the Valve is a kind of compensation for the caused Mac users some inconvenience associated with the acquisition of the extension devices Steam Controller and Steam Link.

Immediately after the official release of the products revealed that Steam Link is unable to complete the broadcast of games from Mac, and Steam Controller, in turn, does not have support for gamepad emulation. Thus, both models were completely unusable on systems “Apple” of the company. Employees Valve apologized, promising to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Additionally, Valve has decided to make amends before the “MacOS users”, giving them all their computer games.

“For access to recent updates and functionality we advise you to install the beta version of the Steam client”, — said in the company newsletter.

Buyers Steam Controller and Steam Link also have the option to return the spent means. This service is valid for 60 days from the date of acquisition of gaming devices.
