Microsoft on Friday released updated versions of the Surface Pro 4 and its first Surface Book laptop. Improved models got a more powerful Intel Core i7 processor of the sixth generation, 16 GB RAM and flash drive capacity of 1TB.
The Surface Pro 4 has a screen with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and a resolution of 2736х1824 pixels (267 ppi). Initially, the device went on sale with Intel Core processors (up to Core i7), up to 128/256/512 RAM and 16 GB of flash memory. Graphics depends on installed processor: it can be HD 515 HD 520 or Intel Iris. The performance of the gadget allegedly 30% higher than the previous model and is 50% higher than the MacBook Air.
Surface Pro 4 in the maximum configuration got 1 TB of internal memory standard PCIe 3.0 and Intel Core i7 the item has been added. Other characteristics are the same as the more affordable models. The device is sold in Microsoft retail stores and retailers for $2699 (about 210 000 rubles at the current exchange rate).
Surface Book that Microsoft called the most thin and powerful laptop in the world, has a diagonal of 13.5 inches and a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels, and performance, according to the company, two times higher than that of the MacBook Pro. The device is equipped with Intel’s 6th generation i5 or i7, and SSD volume 128/256/512 GB, two USB 3.0 and a full-sized card reader.
In the top configuration Surface Book also got a 1 TB solid-state drive and Intel Core i7 the item has been added, but in this hybrid set is a modified version of the Nvidia graphics card. It was designed specially for laptop Microsoft.
Surface modification of a new Book is available for order only through the online Microsoft store and through several retailers at the price of $3199 (about 250 000 rubles).
