iPhone 7 Plus lost speed charging Samsung Galaxy S8+ [video]

Every mobile device manufacturer strives to offer customers a special “trick” that distinguishes its products in the technological aspect. Among developers of Android devices it’s hardware capabilities, including the ability to quickly charge the battery. Author YouTube channel XEETECHCARE decided to test the new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8+ and an iPhone 7 Plus on the charging rate.

In the beginning of the test, both machines were loaded on 3%. The measurements below were fair, charging was carried out with the help of original power adapters, said the author of the experiment.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has a battery capacity of 3500 mAh, while the iPhone 7 Plus – 2900 mAh. However, it is understood that South Korean smartphone supports quick charging.

30 minutes after start of the test battery Galaxy S8+ was charged at 48%, and the iPhone 7 Plus is only up to 27%. After an hour the battery indicator iPhone showed 43%, and Galaxy S8+ – 77%. Samsung was fully charged after 1 hour and 42 minutes, the gadget Apple it took 2 hours and 46 minutes.

In this test, the winner is clearly out Samsung Galaxy S8+, despite the fact that the battery capacity had significantly more.

The result of the iPhone is because Apple does not support technology of quick charging. According to rumors, the Cupertino plan to solve the problem in the iPhone 8. The next model must preserve the Lightning connector, but will receive support fast charging technology Type-C Power Delivery.
