In iOS 9, Apple has implemented a number of improvements associated with a proprietary map service. OS now automatically displays hints about the traffic towards frequently placed.
iPhone with a new Apple OSes remembers the point at which is most often the user, associating them with recorded contacts addresses and uses for useful tips. So, having the morning at home or in the evening from the office, a smartphone user will see a notice about traffic congestion. The screen will display information about the time it will take the path to the destination. the iPhone will automatically detect the direction of movement and suggest a route. Information about traffic jams in Russia are taken from “Yandex.Cards”, so they more accurately reflect the real situation on the roads than Apple Maps.
Automatic suggestions for Cards are based on an updated Siri, which Apple is now called the “action wizard”. Similarly, if you connect headphones to the smartphone, iOS 9 will realize that person probably wants to listen to a podcast. Or, to connect the car to an audio system, Siri will offer favorite playlist on the way home.
Similar functions on the Android platform, runs the Google Now, in 2013, became available as a standalone app for iOS. For Apple, however, the user interaction takes place completely anonymously: the company does not collect information on the preferences of the person and does not use for advertising purposes.
In addition to the automatic tips “Maps” in iOS 9 help to use public transport. In some cities, a new mode of “Transport” shows the routes and stops right on the map. But with the function “Next” is now easy to find the closest restaurants, shops and more.
