On the YouTube channel iAppleBytes published a series of rollers, which compares the performance of iOS 8.4.1, iOS iOS 9.0.2 and 9.1. The test is timed to the release of the third beta of the upcoming software update, “nine.”

As a result of testing it turned out that iOS 9.1 beta 3 boasts the best speed, rather than the stable version of iOS 9.0.2. At the same time, iOS 9.1 lags in speed from iOS 8.4.1. This is noticeable in almost all tested applications: Messages, Cards, Phone, App Store, Safari, and other Apple Music.

iAppleBytes four times tested iOS 9.1 beta 3: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 and 5s. The experiment showed negligible performance improvements compared to iOS 9.0.2. Although in some cases they are visible on the level of error. As for the tests involving the last release of “eight” – iOS 8.4.1, is unmatched.
