IOS 11, updated more than half of iPhone and iPad

Representatives of Analytics company Mixpanel reported that a month after release, iOS 11 installed on nearly 55% of the devices.

Apple released iTunes 11 on September 19. The process of transition to new firmware is not as fast as iOS 10. A week after the release of iOS 11 was set at 25% of the devices, and in two weeks the rate of updates reached 38.5%. At around three weeks, the number updated on 11 iOS Apple devices has exceeded the number of iPhone and iPad running iOS 10. Now, a month after the official release on the latest operating system works 54,49% of devices, while iOS 10 39,17%. At the same time, of 6.34% iPhone and iPad remain on older firmware.

Apple released three small updates iOS 11, aimed at solving the detected problems and errors. The last one, iOS 11.0.3, eliminates problems with non-original displays and tactile response on some devices.

The number of referrals likely to increase substantially after the release of iOS 11.1. In the next update Apple will add Apple Pay Cash and new Emoji. In addition, the company will eliminate the error reachability, and WPA2 Wi-Fi vulnerability. The release of iOS 11.1 is scheduled for the end of October.
