Apple has published new statistics on the prevalence of iOS. Data were obtained from the devices that went into the App Store over the last few weeks.
According to official statistics, Apple iOS 10 installed on 87% of devices, while iOS 9 to 10%. The remaining three percent have an earlier version of iOS. It is noteworthy that iOS 10 are mounted on the same number of devices that iOS 9 in August last year. In early 2017 the iOS 10 was installed on 76% of compatible devices after which the pace of updates has been reduced. In September Apple will unveil iOS 11, which, most likely, will enjoy the same popularity.
Meanwhile, the latest version of Android installed Nougat 11.5%. But the most popular version is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is installed by 31.8%.
