Instagram introduced a new feature that allows users of the social network to publish up to 10 photos and videos at the same time in the form of “carousel”. This is stated in the official company blog.
When you publish a new post, you must press a special icon, and then choose up to 10 photos or video. The display order of data in “carousel” can be changed by means of a long press, and to impose a filter on all elements or on each of the photos. The number of frames, and clips will appear with a special indicator.
In the film “carousel” will be marked by dots at the bottom. To switch from material to material, you can swipe left and right. At the moment these may be accompanied by only one signature and they are only available in square format.
Unlike Stories that disappear after 24 hours, these posts will remain in the profile, the developers noted.
Batch publish photos will be available in the client version of Instagram 10.9. Release updates for iOS and Android will be held in the near future.
