In Russia will develop a unified design for government sites in the style of Apple

By April the Russian government websites will switch to a single design on the principle of Apple. By April 2018 it will change the appearance 10 portals: a resource of the government of Russia, Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of health, Ministry of education, Ministry of labour and the Ministry of energy. The same design will also appear on the voting website “Russian public initiative”, the open data portal and the website for public comment of draft regulatory acts, as well as on the portal of public services.

Redesign work of the Ministry of communications and the Institute of development Internet (IRI). Now the design and layout of the state sites did not standardized, said the Director of “Catsoft” Anton Dovbnya. As an example he cited Apple, where there is a unified approach to the design of applications.

“Standards and guidelines on it — an example is Apple. Do not meet the standards will not fall in the App Store. The standards need to be developed by industry professionals, not officials,” said supervisor

“All Federal authorities, the official sites of the constituent entities, regional bodies will have to apply uniform standards: color, font style”, — told “Izvestia” Director of the project activities IRI Arseny Weltzin.

According to Delcina, there are already several ready-made templates for the transition to the new design, and some are still in the process of preparation. Style new resources will be similar to the current sites of the President of Russia and the Ministry of communications. To work on design resources decided, particularly after 2016, Russia has fallen to 35th place from 27th (in 2014) in the index of electronic government development, which is published by the UN every 2 years.

As analysts estimated in 2016, the transition to a single style can help you save 2.54 billion roubles annually.
