Company Google has added in Google Maps new feature-order a taxi directly from the mobile app. This was reported in the official blog of the company.
In 2016, Google launched the Google Maps button taxi for the selected route. Various services such as Uber, Lyft and Gett, the company entered into a partnership agreement. The button allows to calculate the cost of the route and go to the selected application for registration of the order.
Now users of Google Maps for iOS and Android devices can book Uber without switching to the application, that is, even in the absence of installed on the device Uber. To do this, set the route and click on the icon of a man raised his hand.
The service allows you to choose the fare to track the driver on the map and contact him without the need to open the official client Uber.
Also pay for taxis you can directly from Google Maps. To use this feature, the user needs to log in to Google Maps with the same account, which he uses Uber, then the card details will be automatically populated.
