In the Apple Maps is available for over 40 indoor maps for airports and malls. It is reported by MacRumors.
At the presentation of iOS 11 Apple representatives promised to add detailed maps of major shopping malls and airports around the world. By the time the operating system in September 2017, the internal card was available in some US cities.
14 Dec on the Apple website there was a reference about the availability of maps of airports and shopping centers. In Apple Maps there is information on 34 airports, located in USA, Germany, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. Navigation for shopping centers are available only in the US and restricted to nine institutions. When the information appears on Russian sites, is unknown.
At airports there is information on the outputs, terminals, check-in counters and baggage claim. There is also information about restaurants and restrooms. In shopping centers and marked shops, restaurants, restrooms, escalators, elevators and stairs.
