The company Infinit announced the iPad version of the eponymous mobile app that allows you to send files of any size in tens of times faster than through the usual “cloud” services. In addition to high speed data transmission solution is characterized by two important aspects: it is unlimited and completely free. In the last update the program interface is translated into nine languages, including Russian.
Originally Infinit was only available on Mac and Windows, but later was released on all popular platforms. It can help in one-click send files of any size on any computers, even on those that are in the off state. Thus the tool is adapted to connect, in order to achieve maximum speed. When PCs are on a local network, use it, and when on different networks – connect peer-to-peer. Thus, these gigabytes can be sent many times faster than through the usual “cloud” services.
Now Infinit is available not only on iPhone and Android devices, but on the iPad, turning from the service’s file transfer solution for data synchronization. Most cloud services have a limit on file upload size and limited storage. This service is completely unlimited and free. To earn money in the future, the program will add additional paid features, but all the current functionality will remain completely free.
The developers note that all file transfers are encrypted, so access to it is only the sender and the receiver. Users can also play videos and music in “streaming” mode, to view the download history and conversations with friends
Infinit works really fast, thanks to peer-to-peer. Significantly faster than Dropbox and Google Drive. Transfer 2 GB of video over Wi-Fi app takes about 13 minutes, while Dropbox requires about 5 hours. It does not matter if during the copying of the remote connection process fails or the hard drive will be full. If you reconnect or release the hard drive, the app will automatically continue with the download.
