Google failed delivery of the main Android competitor to the iPhone 7

In October last year, the search giant refused to partnerships with smartphone manufacturers, and closed the line of Nexus. From 2010 through 2015, the brand came smartphones and tablets from Samsung, HTC, Huawei, Motorola and LG. They were distinguished by high quality materials, the early release of updates and affordable price. Officially they were created to support Android developers, but the Nexus line has gained popularity among ordinary buyers.

In the fall of to replace the Nexus came smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL, developed by Google itself. This is the flagship smartphone with powerful stuffing, build quality and price comparable to the price of the iPhone. But even Android fans at the moment can’t buy a novelty because, having refused from cooperation with partners, Google has lost the logistics channels and access to distribution networks.

In the result three months after the launch of sales in the largest mobile market in the US to order the smartphone Pixel can only have one operator, pre-order for March. In most countries of the world, including in Russia, the new smartphone Google officially not sold at all.
