“Your iPhone is locked and blacklisted for violation of the law, article 242, part 1, and 241. part 1 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. Visiting and viewing sites from the black list, engaged in the manufacture and sale of:
1. Child pornography.
2. Elements porn with animals.
3. The promotion of homosexuality in society.”
To unlock the scammers offer to transfer money to a special telephone number. The price is 3700 rubles.
Users are advised in such a situation is to close Safari and clear the browser cache. To do this go to Settings –> Safari and click the “Clear history and site data”.
