What matters most in a smartphone camera? If you think that the number of megapixels, then you are a victim of marketing.
Of course, the more megapixels, the more detail will be seen in the enlargement. But there are many other features of cameras in mobile devices, affecting the quality of the image. This explains the superiority of the iPhone over other smartphones in terms of quality of photos. So what is the most important thing in a smartphone camera?
A well-known blogger Marques Brownlee released a video explaining the main characteristics of cameras in mobile devices. The quality of shooting is influenced by pixel size, the quality of the sensor and aperture.
The matrix in the cells consists of a plurality of photosensitive cells that receives light and this creates the image on the matrix as a whole, and is called photography. 12 megapixels, let’s say it’s 3000 x 4000 = 12 000 000. But not all so is simple: they have the same resolution, the matrix can be of different sizes physically. Is obtained if the matrix is small, and light-sensitive small cells, respectively, and light can get there a little before it is full.
All this construction, for illustration, can be compared with the form to freeze ice. Most importantly, Brownlee says that you yourself like the camera of the smartphone, but also photos and videos that you shoot.
