Korean media reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will get a display with 3D touch technology. The same displays Apple uses in their products in 2014.
It is reported that with the new display you can call up a menu with quick actions on the home screen and launch certain applications on a strong press on the Home button. Likely to work this technology will be only with the standard Samsung apps.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+, the company is already using displays with similar technology, but it works only in a small area, where the virtual Home button.
