Chapter Yota Devices presented the YotaPhone 2 to Chinese Vice-Premier

The official took part in the opening of the second Russian-Chinese EXPO in Harbin. During the tour, the CEO of Yota Devices Vladislav Martynov personally demonstrated and presented the domestic smartphone YotaPhone Chinese Vice-Premier.

“Our phone from my point of view is a symbol of cooperation between Russia and China in the sphere of new technologies, because the whole architecture was created by us, but gathered on the basis of Chinese technology,” said Martynov. He expressed confidence in the success of the model in the Chinese market, stressing that the Russian smartphone has a “unique feature — dual screen”.

A special version of the YotaPhone 2, supporting local LTE frequencies, went on sale in the Chinese market back in may. The new product has a preset package the most popular Chinese mobile apps and social networking clients, localized and adapted for the second screen of the smartphone.

The declared cost of the smartphone — 4888 yuan (about 47 000 rubles at the CBR exchange rate on October 12). In Russia the recommended price of the black model — $ 40,000, white — 43 000 rubles. Online sales in China will be made through your own online store Tmall, for offline distribution, Yota Devices has signed a partnership agreement with one of the largest operators in the country, China Unicom.

As expected, on Monday, Yota Devices has signed an agreement with the Chinese company OED Technologies on the development of a second e-ink display of the YotaPhone for the third generation.

Recall, the first owner of the Russian smartphone YotaPhone the second generation became the head of China XI Jinping. In November last year, gadget was presented to him by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
