Casio presented its new smart watch compatible with iOS and Android, is the Edifice EQB-500. From other devices model features a built-in Bluetooth module and processor with minimal power consumption.
Casio EQB-500 is made of stainless steel and have a large variety of options, most memorable of which is a wireless connection with iPhone. They connect with a mobile device to perform a variety of tasks, such as notification of incoming calls that triggered the alarm and other vibration signals. The Edifice also automatically adjust to the time zone of any city, thanks to syncing with a smartphone. There is a mobile app Casio allows you to make clock settings in the manual mode with the iPhone.
In the Edifice EQB-500 is almost a third the size of the reduced mechanisms compared to other models. The Casio implementation of technology Multi-Mission Drive hours allows each arrow to be responsible for multiple functions (analog system mechanism, designed for high impact series, in which the hands move independent motors). Tough Solar technology allows you to recharge the model from any light source, up to a table lamp that will extend the life of the internal battery.
The options of interaction with the Edifice EQB-500 with mobile devices:
- using an internal dial and a special mobile application, you can set the time in one of 300 available cities in the list;
- the watch will automatically switch to the home time zone after travelling to another country;
- alarm clock and other functions you can configure with your smartphone;
- select the unit of distance to measure speed in the stopwatch mode;
- details of the stopwatch can be transferred to the phone for a more detailed study or analysis capabilities;
- the alarm calls smartphone watch button (if you accidentally forgot where the iPhone);
- the ability to check for new mail notifications.
The cost of the Edifice EQB-500 is 299 euros for a model in silver and 399 euros for the black modification.
