Case InkCase i6 iPhone 6s will turn into a kind of YotaPhone

California company OAXIS has opened pre-orders for the 99-dollar case InkCase i6, allowing you to turn the back of the smartphone iPhone 6/6s in the secondary display.

InkCase i6 is a separate module with a monochrome screen and a built-in battery. To exchange data with the mobile device serves as a wireless Bluetooth. With the help of related applications, you can set the display of particular information – current tasks, time, stock quotes, weather forecast.

The screen uses a technology called electronic paper E Ink: the image is easy to read in direct sunlight, and the energy expended only at the time of redrawing the picture. The panel can be used for reading or displaying photos. The case allows long to hold before the eyes of a desired image, the picture will remain visible even in the case of complete depletion of battery energy.

Of course, the installation of the cover increases the thickness of the iPhone. But the user gets some sort of smartphone from Yota Devices.

The company OAXIS is not the only one who decided to turn the iPhone into a YotaPhone. The case of dual-use previously introduced the company popSLATE. Her accessory is also intended to extend the functionality of Apple’s flagship, the advantages of using E-Ink technology.

Last year, Yota Devices tried to ban the sale of Russian electronic skins for smartphones with additional E-Ink screen. The corresponding claim of the manufacturer YotaPhone filed in the Moscow Arbitration court. In February of this year the company reached agreement: Yota Devices issued by PocketBook a license to manufacture their products.
